This small collection of images and text, shows how the 1930s saw a revival of Classicism in Fashion and Fashion Photography. One of the most succesful photographer of the time was certainly Horst. The material extracted from his book “Horst P. Horst” , V&A (2014), describes why he, like others in his time, felt so attracted by the allure and Beauty of the ancient world.
